Diving Fun Fact
Barracuda use the element of surprise to prey on smaller fish, crustaceans, squid and marine invertebrates. They are capable of swimming up to 40 km/25 miles in short bursts to overcome their prey and devour them with their long rows of sharp teeth. Because they can grow up to 2 meters/6.6 feet, barracuda have few natural predators besides sharks, killer whales and humans. This is a close up of a barracuda tornado we took in Sipadan, Malaysia.
