Diving Fun Fact
These Nembrotha Lineolata nudibranch breath through pronounced branchial plumes branching from the rear of their bodies. These plumes surround the anus, meaning that the nudibranch breath and poop from the same region of their bodies. A fun but gross fact that we have found particularly good for piquing the interest of children. We photographed these Nembrotha Lineolata nudibranchs during a dive in Zamboanguita, Philippines.
