Sheep Fact, South Island, New Zealand

New Zealand is home to nearly 5 million people and roughly 39 million sheep. Sheep were first brought to New Zealand by Captain James Cook, the British explorer, in the 1770’s, and sheep farming has since become one of the countries most important industries.
