Diving Fun Fact
Australian Fur Seals can grow to a length of over 6 feet and weigh more than 600 pounds. Great White Sharks are their primary predator. Australian Fur Seals are highly social and can use unique sounds to identify individual seals. These sounds are particularly useful when mother seals return from hunting and need to locate their pups. We saw these seals on a snorkeling tour out of Queenscliff, Australia.
