Crocodile Fish, Komodo National Park, Indonesia

The crocodile fish is a large member of the scorpionfish family that can grow to nearly 20 inches in length. Effective ambush predators, they lie on the bottom waiting for an unsuspecting prey to swim in front of their mouth. We saw this one in Komodo National Park.
