Travel Fun Fact

Koalas of Cape Otway

Cape Otway is one of the best places to see wild koalas in Australia. There are so many (around 4,000) koalas that naturalists started relocating koalas from the cape to other areas in 2017 because there was not enough food to sustain the population. We spotted this koala along the road on the way to the lighthouse in Cape Otway. Read more in our post, The Great Ocean Road by Campervan: Searching for Koalas & Shipwrecks.
