Split Point Lighthouse

Split Point Lighthouse is located in Aireys Inlet along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. It was first lit in 1891. There was a total of 638 known shipwrecks along this stretch of coast prior to lighthouses being posted on its shores; thus earning it the nickname, “The Shipwreck Coast.” Read more in our post, The Great Ocean Road by Campervan: Searching for Koalas & Shipwrecks.
